In our own words
Here is where the ad for the game goes. In one of the last cities on the planet, following in the wake of a devastating attack from the earth itself, life runs about like a old watch's dirty mechanisms. People trudge on through life, without so much hope for something better but a nagging desperation to live through to the next day.
But, even in the rocky ground of a post-apoc disaster, the seeds of something new can begin to sprout. A new magical force, coursing through the veins of the chosen, lights a path through a darkness where all the old methods are failing. The rallying force of great leaders and supreme soldiers offer protection from what lurks at the corners of vision. The bravery and valor of everyday citizens helps along society, pushing towards a better life.
But it's opposite number is there too. Nothing is easy anymore in this brave new world, and the forces of darkness push closer and closer each minute. Bandits roam the countryside in the places where even the most vicious monsters won't go for fear of armed men. Corrupt officials dredge up new progress in favor of their own prosperity. And then, the forces of darkness themselves threaten to claim and corrupt what little good is left in the world.
Adventure and villainy lie in wait for any who have the valor to reach for them. Who knows what may come in the new dark age of the world?
