A policy in two acts
Act 1 - The Website
If you only read the Wiki, no more information is collected than is typically collected in server logs by web sites in general.
If you contribute to the GATEWAY Wiki, you are publishing every word you post publicly. If you write something, assume that it will be retained forever. This includes articles, user pages and talk pages. All contributions made to the Wiki are published under a Creative Commons license.
We use the same privacy policy as Wikipedia. Contact Us with any questions relating to this policy.

Act 2 - The Game
Those who log onto GATEWAY - The MU* Community have a reasonable expectation of privacy. To this end, GATEWAY will not support or allow:
1) The publishing of personal information on any channels or bulletin boards 2) Cyber-stalking
This includes, but is not limited to a player logging onto another game, and posting information about their character in relation to point 1.
We do not allow private information of anyone connecting to the game to be made public. Private information means real life names, address and any personal information. Nor will we allow players to harass each other about past online experiences. Each player and staff has the right to decide what information to give out and to whom. If a person doesn't want to give out any information asked, do not take offense at this.
