GATEWAY - The MU* Community and its staff are not responsibility for the opinions and views expressed by members of the game and its affiliated areas (i.e. the GATEWAY website, discussion boards, forums, and Google eGroup mailing lists). Staff waives the right of responsibility of privacy that may be compromised between the game server and a member's home computer, that means the internet is not secure. The only assurance the staff can make is upholding the privacy policy on the game but not on the data stream between the game and a member's computer.
The names, terms and other details of the games played, discussed, written of, represented, etc. here are the sole property of the game owners (i.e. MU*s -and- game systems). GATEWAY - The MU* Community claims no ownership on these games.
Staff does not monitor nor take responsibility of any roleplay done on the game. We leave any roleplay conflict to the hosts of that area. If the conflict grows beyond the scope of roleplay, then the staff will decide whether or not they want to get involved.
GATEWAY - The MU* Community allows for minors to connect to the game and cannot monitor their activity to ensure their rights are not violated. Please note that adult discussions can happen in this community and the staff waives responsibility of minors that connect to this game outside of any illegal activity that harms a minor which is brought to the staff's attention.
Any illegal transgressions discovered by the members of GATEWAY - The MU* Community will be reported to the appropriate authorities. Illegal transgressions mean activity that violates any Federal or State law.
Staff will also not allow hacking into the game server, taking game code without permission of its owners, online stalking, online spying, harassment, abusive and sabotage behavior of any persons that are connected or affiliated to the game.
The role of staff is to ensure GATEWAY - The MU* Community stays a neutral environment by enforcing the rules and policies set forth on the game. The role of its members, that includes staff, is to abide by these rules and policies. The measures to keep the community safe for everyone is written in the rules and policies and the expectation of the community is to give positive feedback of the game.
To maintain the game's neutrality, reviews of other mu* games are not permitted in order to discourage bias in the mu* community.
By connecting to the game and participating in its affiliated arenas, you are agreeing to accept this disclaimer and also choose to abide by it. Any further details of this disclaimer can be discussed with staff and also found in the game policies and rules.
Failure to uphold the neutrality of the game by staff or players may result in dismissal of rights to connect to the game.
